Cumbria Chamber of Commerce’s Export Documentation Service helps make exporting simpler, making sure you have the correct paperwork for your exports.
Cumbria Chamber of Commerce can help make the process simple, ensuring the correct paperwork is completed correctly first time – avoiding lengthy delays and saving you money.
Exporting goods abroad can be a nightmare, especially when export documentation is required, and you don’t have a clue where to start or what documentation to complete!
So what documents can we process?
EC Certificates of Origin
Importers usually require a Certificate of Origin to meet customs or quota requirements in the importing country, or to comply with banking requirements.
EUR1 Movement Certificates
An EUR1 document can help your buyer in some countries import your goods more cheaply under preference. Preference means that your buyer may pay a lower or nil rate of import duty on your goods.
An ATR Certificate is a goods movement certificate used for preferential treatment of goods moved between the European Community and Turkey.
We have arrangements with neighbouring Chambers to process Arab Documents.
e-Cert Express Service
The e-Cert Express service saves you invaluable time – no more having to rely on posting Certificates of Origin and waiting for them to be processed manually and then posted back to you. Documents can be submitted in electronically, so they can be turned around in a matter of minutes.
If any amendments need to be made to a certificate once the document has been checked by Chamber staff these can be made immediately by you and the document resubmitted within minutes for processing and subsequent electronic return.
What does it cost?
For EC Certificates of Origin, EUR1s and ATRs our prices are £22 + VAT for members and £40 + VAT for non-members. Arab certification and legalisation costs are available on request. Please see our Price List for further details.
